FFG Successfully Concludes Its Inaugural Annual Retreat
FUTURE Foundation Global (FFG) proudly celebrates a significant milestone with the successful completion of its 1st Annual Retreat held on November 16-17, 2024, at the residence of Drs. Ben and Consie Aguila in New Jersey. The event brought together FFG trustees and members for a transformative weekend of strategic planning, leadership development, and meaningful collaboration.
Guided by FFG’s new mission—“Leadership and service for transformative excellence of the Filipino PT”—the retreat opened with a warm welcome breakfast and engaging icebreaker activities, setting a collaborative and purpose-driven tone for the weekend. Highlights included interactive workshops on governance and nonprofit leadership, a deep dive into FFG’s evolving role as a leadership incubator, and strategic planning sessions focused on setting actionable goals for 2025 and beyond.
Key Outcomes from the Retreat:
Finalization of FFG’s refined mission and vision statements.
Launch plans for the Leadership Development Program in early 2025.
Establishment of SMART goals for sustainable organizational growth.
Strengthened commitment to member engagement and community impact.
Beyond formal sessions, attendees enjoyed a team-building trip to New York City, fostering camaraderie and a shared purpose. The retreat concluded with a reflection and feedback session, reinforcing FFG’s dedication to empowering Filipino Physical Therapists as global leaders.
FFG President Dr. Eleazar Tayag, PT, DPT, MPH, expressed gratitude to all participants, stating, “This retreat was a turning point for FFG. Our unified vision and commitment will drive us forward as we empower Filipino PTs to lead transformative change worldwide.”
