The event featured a glamorous Red Carpet Entrance, setting the tone for an evening filled with elegance and excitement. Alumni and their guests dressed to impress, creating a vibrant atmosphere that celebrated the school’s rich history and enduring legacy.
Special Guests:
Roger Herr, PT, DPT, APTA President, graced the occasion, sharing inspiring insights on the evolving role of physical therapists in healthcare and the importance of leadership and advocacy in the profession.
Dr. Det C. Dizon, MD, Past Dean of the FEU-NRMF School of Physical Therapy, delivered a heartfelt message reflecting on the school’s remarkable journey and its impact on the global physical therapy community.
Event Highlights:
Alumni from all over the United States gathered to revisit fond memories, rekindle friendships, and renew their Tamaraw spirit.
Guests enjoyed a night of entertainment, meaningful conversations, and photo opportunities to commemorate this historic event.
The event also served as a platform to strengthen the alumni network, fostering connections that support professional growth and collaboration.
Legacy of Leadership: From Alumni Association to Global Advocacy
The celebration also highlighted the inspiring journey of the FUTURE Foundation Global (FFG), which originally began as the FEU NRMF PT Alumni Association founded by Drs. Ben and Consie Aguila. What started as a platform to unite alumni eventually expanded its mission to welcome non-alumni members. This evolution led to its transformation into a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, now dedicated to advocating for Global Filipino Physical Therapists through leadership development, mentorship, and advocacy efforts.
The success of this milestone celebration marks a promising future for the FEU-NRMF School of Physical Therapy community. The spirit of unity, pride, and excellence was palpable throughout the evening, reminding all attendees of the lasting impact of their alma mater.
