FUTURE Foundation Global (FFG): Empowering Filipino Physical Therapists for Global Impact

As we reflect on an incredible year of growth and progress, FUTURE Foundation Global (FFG) proudly stands at the forefront of leadership and advocacy for Filipino Physical Therapists worldwide. What began as the FEU-NRMF PT Alumni Association—founded by visionary leaders Drs. Ben and Consie Aguila—has evolved into a dynamic and inclusive 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Today, FFG is dedicated to empowering Filipino Physical Therapists (PTs) through leadership development, mentorship, advocacy, and global engagement.

FFG's mission is rooted in fostering transformative excellence among Filipino PTs by providing platforms for professional growth, facilitating collaboration across disciplines, and advocating for inclusive practices within the global healthcare community. Our leadership team, comprising accomplished physical therapy professionals, continues to drive innovative initiatives aimed at addressing healthcare disparities, advancing physical therapy practices, and promoting cultural competence in healthcare.

In 2024, FFG has made remarkable strides, from leading critical advocacy efforts for Internationally Educated Physical Therapists (IEPTs) at the APTA House of Delegates to organizing impactful educational forums and global summits. Our trustees and members have been instrumental in spearheading initiatives that elevate the voice of Filipino PTs and foster meaningful change in healthcare policies and practices.

As we look ahead, FFG remains steadfast in its commitment to inspiring the next generation of Filipino PT leaders, expanding our global reach, and driving positive change in the healthcare profession.
